T-Mobile has stated multiple times that it is looking to distance itself from the other three major carriers in the United States. The wireless company has already been doing that through its Value Plans, which offer a lower monthly fee provided the customer pays the full price of the handset.
On March 26th, T-Mobile will host an event taking place in New York City. The teaser image reads: “We’re still a wireless company. We’re just not going to act like one anymore.”
We fully expect T-Mobile to possibly take away some of its offerings (such as classic plans) and possibly add other unique Value Plans. The bottom line here is that T-Mobile is going to restructure the types of plans offered to the customers. I doubt T-Mobile will unveil any new hardware at the event. Since the date is at the end of March, I imagine T-Mobile will take the opportunity to officially switch on 4G LTE, which is always exciting.
