As previously rumored, the Samsung Galaxy Camera is now officially confirmed to launch on Verizon Wireless in just two days. The launch of the Galaxy Camera on Big Red puts it in prime position for the rush of last minute holiday shopping. For anyone interested in the Galaxy Camera, you’ll be happy to know it offers the same high-end hardware and software found in the AT&T version. However, it will cost a little bit more up front to the tune of $549.
In terms of hardware and software, the Galaxy Camera offers a 16MP camera, 4.8 inch HD Super Clear LCD touch screen display, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 4G LTE connectivity, and runs on Android 4.1.
Verizon will be offering the Galaxy Camera in white and black. In addition, it can be added to a Family Share Everything plan for $5 a month. The $5 per month promotion is available for limited time only. If you are interested in the digital camera running Android, then be sure to visit Verizon on December 13.
