In case the Samsung Galaxy Camera on AT&T isn’t exactly your cup of tea, then you may be happy to learn that Verizon Wireless will almost definitely carry it in the very near future. Several rumors began swirling about the possibility of Big Red launching the Galaxy Camera, but today, we have some definitive evidence that provides credence to this rumor.
Earlier today, Samsung posted a product page for the Galaxy Camera connected with Verizon 4G LTE, but it pulled the page within the past couple of hours. However, a spec sheet with Verizon 4G LTE Connected is still live on the web for your viewing pleasure. Based on this evidence, I would say there’s a strong possibility that Verizon will launch the Galaxy Camera within the next couple of weeks.
As a quick recap of its specs, the Galaxy Camera offers a 16MP camera, Android 4.1, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, a 4.8 inch touch screen display, and 4G LTE connectivity. It could retail for $499 (the current price on AT&T), but that remains to be confirmed.
