We have some impressive news regarding the Galaxy S III coming out Samsung camp earlier today. Straight from JK Shin, President of IT And Mobile Communications Division, the Galaxy S III has now sold 30 million units since its launch in May. In the same five month period, the Galaxy S II sold 10 million times.
While we already know the Samsung Galaxy S III is a solid smartphone from start to finish, the most impressive aspect of this launch is arguably the media campaign. Samsung expertly employed a smart ad campaign for the Galaxy S III and it is clearly paying off. Expectations for the Galaxy S III were greatly surpassed as Samsung estimated it would take the remainder of 2012 to sell 30 million units.
There is a little less than two months remaining in 2012 and Samsung is in a great position with the Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II, and soon the Nexus 10.
