Despite the prevailing belief that 5.5 inches is too large for a smartphone display, Samsung proves yet again that consumers actually enjoy the large display. In about 37 days since the Galaxy Note II initially launched, it has already sold 3 million times worldwide. This number is impressive especially considering that Verizon and AT&T have yet to officially launch their own models of the Galaxy Note II in the United States.
If you want a large 5.5 inch smartphone, then the Galaxy Note II is your best bet. It combines high-end hardware with Android 4.1 and a well integrated S-Pen.
As a a quick recap of its specs, the Galaxy Note II offers a 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.1, 5.5 inch Super AMOLED HD display, 3100 mAh battery, 8MP rear facing camera, 16GB of on board memory, and microSD memory expansion. It also offers a redesigned S Pen that offers unique integration and special features such as Easy Clip, Air View, Quick Command, Idea Sketch, and Photo Notes.

3 millions per month? I thought the “experts” said no one would like a large screen, large device, like that.
And AT&T + Verizon haven’t released it yet! I’ve had it for 8 days now. Excellent phone.
I am very interested in the Note II, my concern is battery usage. Appreciate any feedback on this topic. I currently use a HTC EVO3D for phone and hotspot. I also carry a Apple I-Touch for internet browsing (battery on HTC last longer because display is off). If I don’t do this combo, my HTC will not last all day.
I would imagine with the battery and all reports, the battery is more than sufficient
love my phone through sprint but when will the firmware be released in the usa?
firmware to be released on this phone for split screen
