The elusive Google Nexus 4 by LG made another fleeting appearance today in the Google Play Store starting at 3PM EST. As predicted, it sold out within minutes and many frustrated customers were greeted with errors upon errors. In case you don’t care whether you Google Nexus 4 comes unlocked or tied to a contract, then you may want to consider purchasing it with T-Mobile.
The American carrier has the Nexus 4 in stock on its website (as far as I can tell) and it will cost you $199 on a two year contract. The unlocked 16GB model through T-Mobile will cost you $500. If you do not mind being tied to a two year contract with T-Mobile, then the $199 option for the 16GB model is a solid option. However, T-Mobile charging $500 for the unlocked model is a bit absurd considering it costs $349 through the Play Store.
In any event, good luck purchasing your Nexus 4 either through T-Mobile or the Play Store.
