Ready for the next Nexus smartphone to finally launch? According to an event invitation, Google is going to host an event in New York City on October 29 that will almost definitely see the release of the latest Nexus smartphone. Recent rumors pinned LG as the lucky manufacturer to work closely with Google to launch the Nexus 4, but there is also the distinct possibility that Google will partner with multiple OEMs to launch the Nexus.
The event does not reveal too much information, but it is clear it is going to be Android related. Whether the next Nexus will be announced and launched or if Android 4.2 is going to be introduced remains to be seen. There is also a strong chance that a 32GB model Nexus 7 will be announced — offering interested users with a tablet that has greater storage.
As always, we will keep you updated on the news that breaks during the Google event — stay tuned!

Is the Nexus 10 still a unicorn at this point? Is there no chance we see it by end of year?
The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
