We are days away from Google’s upcoming Nexus event taking place on October 29. According to the latest rumors, much more than another Nexus smartphone is going to be revealed. Numerous rumors and leaks point to a Nexus 10 tablet manufactured by Samsung running the latest version of Android.
BriefMobile reportedly got their hands on a Nexus 10 device and we have images and specs to report. To begin, the Nexus 10 offers a stunning 10 inch display with 2560 x 1600 resolution and nearly 299 PPI. The display is reportedly better than the iPad, which is definitely saying something. Moving on, the Nexus 10 offers a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, which is the same Samsung Exynos 5250 found in the Samsung Chromebook. The tablet contains a 5MP rear facing camera, front facing camera, 16GB of on board memory, 2GB of RAM, NFC, and WiFi connectivity.
With all that being said, the Nexus 10 definitely sounds like an awesome tablet and it runs Android 4.2 out-of-the-box. According to the tip, Android 4.2 is still Jelly Bean, but a revamped version. Expect a full report on Monday’s announcement directly following Google’s press conference.
