Over the next couple of days, T-Mobile tablet owners (namely of the T-Mobile SpringBoard and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus) will each be receiving a helping of Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

On August 14, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus will receive the Android 4.0 update through Samsung Kies.  The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features 1GB of RAM, a 7 inch display, 16GB of on board memory, 3MP rear facing camera, microSD card, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, and a 2MP front facing camera.  The Android 4.0 update will bring the latest ICS features and optimizations to make the user experience better.  For complete instructions on upgrading the tablet to ICS using Kies, please refer to the T-Mobile support document below.

The T-Mobile SpringBoard will receive its own share of Android 4.0 on August 15 through an Over-the-Air update.  Owners may wait until the device displays the upgrade notice or manually request it through Settings -> About tablet -> System Updates -> Check now.  As always, make sure you have a strong wireless connection and at least 50% battery life before performing the software update.  The SpringBoard sports a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 7 inch display, 16GB of on board memory, 5MP rear facing camera, and a 1.3MP front facing camera.

Again, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus will receive its Android 4.0 upgrade on August 14 and the T-Mobile SpringBoard will receive it on August 15.
