Apple and Samsung have been going back forth lately over an injunction banning the sale of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Previously, the Galaxy Nexus was removed from the Google Play Store since Apple had won an injunction. However, Samsung was recently able to earn a stay of the ban, which allows them to continue to sell the device until July 12 when Apple issues a response. In the meantime, Google plans on issuing the Android 4.1 upgrade to the Galaxy Nexus which solves the search bar issue.
Now, if you navigate to the Play Store today, you will notice that the Galaxy Nexus can, once again, be purchased. Unfortunately, the catch is that it will not ship for another two-three weeks. At the very least, you can be guaranteed an unlocked GSM Galaxy Nexus to ship to your door in a couple of weeks. I expect Google to finish the software upgrade that clears the issue and allow them to expedite the shipping.
