Google has been having a bit of trouble keeping the 16GB Nexus model in stock as of late.  Fortunately, we are pleased to announce today that the Google Nexus 7 by Asus is officially in stock on the Play Store and the 16GB model will be delivered in 3-5 business days.

It seems Google expected the 8GB model to be more popular with consumers, but it appears many opted for higher storage space over cost as a result of no microSD slot.  As usual, the 16GB Nexus 7 costs $249 and is subject to tax and shipping fees.  As part of the limited time promotion, Google bundles $25 worth of Play credit with each Nexus purchase, which helps to ease the cost of shipping and taxes.

Now let’s hope Google is able to keep the 16GB and 8GB model in stock from here on out.  Feel free to let us know in the comments whether you will be purchasing the 16GB model or 8GB model.
