In case you’re looking for the Pure Google Android 4.0 experience on Verizon, then the Galaxy Nexus is obviously the best choice. It initially launched at a $299 price point, which was eventually slashed to $199 on a two year contract. Today, Verizon cut the price even more to $149 on a two year contract, but it is unclear whether this is a temporary or permanent price adjustment.
In any event, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus for $149 on a two year contract is a good price and I imagine will gain some additional sales. However, with the Samsung Galaxy S III less than a month away from launching, it may be prudent to wait before spending your upgrade or starting an account with Verizon. However, if you’re looking to buy a 4G LTE smartphone now, then the $149 Galaxy Nexus is one of your better options.
