SHADOWGUN creator teases Dead Trigger, a first-person shooter set in zombie apocalypse

Madfinger Games is responsible for two of my favorite Android games, Samurai II: Vengeance and Shadowgun THD, and early signs point to the company adding a third to my list. Madfinger has just released an announcement and early teaser that it is entering the first person shooter genre with a zombie-themed game known as Dead Trigger.
Dead Trigger takes place during the outbreak of a mysterious virus that turns people into zombies. The superrich and powerful have disappeared as society collapsed and the virus turned citizens into deranged flesh eaters. Players must make sense of the world and go on missions to survive this NVIDIA Tegra 3-targeting game.
Kill the zombies, save others, stock-up on supplies, yadda, yadda. This genre is a well that has been visited many times, so the premise isn’t that important. Madfinger is approaching Dead Trigger as something that will be so detailed that I’m guessing players will be too impressed to care about the familiar set-up. Targeting the Tegra 3 architecture will bring “Console-quality” graphics and gameplay thanks to the production value of the game – lighting, physics, ragdoll effects, motion capture, and more.
Madfinger hasn’t stated when Dead Trigger will be released, but it did share these teaser videos and promises of what to expect from the game.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
