Talk about a tough act to follow. We already witnessed a headline-grabbing day on several fronts yesterday as Google unveiled feature after feature to show what’s coming up soon in Android (and next year in iOS – rimshot!).
Now it’s time to turn our gaze away from the past and towards the future. In just a few hours, Google will kick off the Day 2 keynote and discuss some new important details that are sure to thrill I/O attendees and live stream followers alike. What exactly will be unveiled?
My money is on more Chrome OS talk and some additional Google TV details. There have been several GTV related announcements in recent weeks and I was convinced that we’d see something mentioned yesterday, but the Android day finished without any major news concerning Google TV. Now, I’m sure today will be when Google TV is discussed on stage, and I’m putting money down that Vizio makes some sort of announcement to please the already gleeful swag hunters at I/O. Internet players for everyone, perhaps?
More Chrome OS numbers and discussions are a given, but what else do you think Google will surprise us with today? Don’t forget that you can watch the Google I/O keynote live stream at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 7 PM GMT at https://developers.google.com/events/io and get as close to the action as you can get when you’re not on-site.
