With the Samsung Galaxy S III stealing much of the smartphone spotlight, it is important to remember its humble roots with the original Galaxy S device and the Galaxy S II. Today, Samsung began pushing out the Android 4.0 update that is ready for download and installation through Samsung’s proprietary Kies software for the Galaxy S II on AT&T.
The update will obviously bring Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich goodness to the Galaxy S II, but I imagine other notable improvements to the overall experience. If you currently own a stock Galaxy S II with AT&T, then I recommend firing up Kies and downloading the update.
