At the Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE launch last month, I attempted send myself a few sample photos with Sprint’s upcoming phone in hopes of seeing what the camera’s capable of accomplishing. Things didn’t work out as planned, but HTC has provided an early test with the help of Meeno Peluce.
Peluce is a professional photographer who was at the launch event and already has an EVO 4G LTE in his possession. The official HTC Facebook page has posted a few sample shots Peluce took of his family and their surrounding areas, showing off the ImageSense processing software that helps HTC’s latest wave of phones produce higher quality photos.
Keep in mind that these are just samples taken by one person with one camera in his environment. The photos that you take will differ based on conditions like lighting, stability, and your own eye. Results may be better and they may be worse. If they’re better, you can tell folks you’re a camera phone pro.
Heres a couple of photos that you can take a quick glance at now. Head to Facebook to see the full gallery that includes nine images. Like a typical modern photog, Peluce chose to apply black and white to almost half of the photos. (Side note, I’ve always favored black and white over typical Instagram-y filter fests. Consider using that in your photos more often.)
