If you aren’t already fed up with pre-MWC rumors, speculations and announcements, we have today for you one of the most interesting leaks of the past few days. A supposed 10-inch Android-based tablet from Huawei is shown in some photos picked up by the guys at hi-tech.mail.ru and, even though most of its tech specs are unknown, the gadget makes us at least curious.
With a super-slim body and set to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, the 10-incher from Huawei might be the Chinese company’s first decent effort in the tablet market. As I already mentioned, there’s not much we know about the slate, but apparently it will feature an 8-megapixel rear-facing auto-focus camera with LED flash, WiFi and 3G connectivity and a microSD card slot.
The processor, RAM and internal storage space are unknown for the time being, but I personally think that we should expect at least a dual-core chipset with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of on-board memory. A quad-core processor shouldn’t be taken out of the equation either, especially considering the fact that Huawei is certainly stepping up its game lately.
I mean, that Ascend P1 S smartphone unveiled back at the CES still looks darn good on paper, with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, while the Diamond is already rumored to come with extra power under the hood. Having that in mind, why not hope for a quad-core Huawei slate revealed next week in Barcelona?
Stay tuned on Androinica.com for further details about this yet to be named Huawei 10-incher, but also for other exciting unveilings and releases set to happen in the next few days. Also, don’t forget to check out the Huawei leaked photos below and hit us with a comment telling us if the slate actually looks as sweet as we here at Androinica see it!
