Rovio put up the pre-launch page for the latest installment of the iconic Angry Birds franchise, and this one has us excited, especially my son. Angry Birds: Space is coming March 22, just after his birthday.
Apparently NASA and National Geographic are involved in some capacity as launch partners, and the game will feature some brand new space-inspired physics. Low or zero gravity and something called “lightspeed destruction” sound like they’re on the way, and that sounds like a fun twist on their tried and true formula.
No official word on whether all platforms get it on day 1, but they’re promising that this will be hitting mobile gaming, animation, retail and publishing all at once.

Are you still playing Angry Birds? Will you be picking this one up right at launch?
