We have had quite a lot of Android-powered 4G LTE smartphone unveilings and releases during these past couple of days and, as things stand, we’re in for even more. The Samsung R920, a Samsung Galaxy Indulge R910 supposed follower, has been leaked on the web and looks ready for action as soon as possible.

The two leaked photos, picked up by the guys at xdadevelopers.com, don’t reveal much about this smartphone’s tech specs and features, but almost confirm the handset’s impending release. The Samsung R920 (it probably won’t be a final name) comes with the metroPCS logo on the front and with 4G ‘’carved’’ on the back, so at least we know what will be the first carrier to release this smartphone and an interesting detail about its connectivity options.

Other than that, we can’t say much about this supposed Galaxy Indulge successor, but we kind of dig the design, as it’s shown in the leaked photos, with what looks like a very stylish, sort of metallic back. The rounded edges and curves are also pretty nice, so I guess I personally will be watching this handset’s release closely.

In terms of rumors and speculations, the guys at xda-developers expect the smartphone to run Android 2.3 Gingerbread, to feature a 1 GHz single-core processor, 512 MB of RAM and to sport a WVGA screen with a diagonal of around 3.7-4.0 inches.

However, there’s no way to know for sure what exactly will the Samsung R920 pack under its hood, so keep in touch with our website for official details, expected to be unveiled sooner rather than later. And who knows, maybe the guys at Samsung have a surprise in store for us and this smartphone will run Android 4.0 and will be powered by a snappier, dual-core processor? It’s pretty hard to believe, but it’s not impossible, isn’t it?
