So you’ve read why Ice Cream Sandwich is great, taken a solid look at the Galaxy Nexus, and fully expect to hand over your money just as soon as carriers get their act together and confirm the release dates. But before you reach for that wallet, pay attention to the freebies being offered by Google.
Google started a promotion today on its Google+ and Twitter pages that will grant a free Samsung Galaxy Nexus to wise individuals who pay attention to those pages. Each day from now until November 21, 2011, Google will issue a challenge to followers. The lucky person from an eligible region who submits the correct answer will be gifted the Galaxy Nexus.
This is a skills-based competition evaluated by judges, so you’ll need to eat your brain food whenever a challenge is issued. I stared at today’s challenge and decided I’d rather spend my Saturday eating burritos and watching College Football, so best of luck to your smarty pants who figure out the answer.
Full details on rules, eligibility, and challenge schedules are available here. Be sure to follow the Android Google+ page and the Google Nexus Twitter page to stay up to date on challenges. The contest is open only to legal residents in the 50 United States and District of Columbia, Australia, Canada (Quebec excluded), France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, South Korea, and the United Kingdom. Good luck everyone.
