T-Mobile USA has another impressive Android phone from HTC in its pipeline. Announced today at the GigaOM Mobilize conference, the HTC Amaze 4G is a new phone that keeps pace with many of today’s top specs and expected speeds for T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ 42 network.
The specifications for the Amaze 4G read like a checklist of what people expect from HTC today. There’s HTC Sense 3.0 layered onto of Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread), a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 1.5 GHz processor, HDMI/MHL, 16 GB of internal memory, 1 GB of RAM, and a 1730 mAh battery. There’s a 4.3 qHD super LCD capacitive screen, FM radio, near field communications (NFC), and max speeds of 42 Mbps network speeds.
There’s also an improved camera that can take 8MP photographs and a 1080p HD video. The camera software features the SmartShot technology that quickly snaps photos and compiles it to create a superior image, BurstShot to take several photos in succession, Sweepshot for panoramic photos, ClearShot for HDR images, and Perfect Pics for rating your image.
