So one of the worst kept secrets in Android is the launch date of the Galaxy S II in the States. We had long assumed that this amazing phone would make its way ‘across the pond.’ We have been guessing about what the carrier specific versions would look like. Then, Samsung told us to pay attention, sending us an invitation to a ‘mysterious’ event. Now, it looks like we have another video to keep us ‘guessing.’
Now, before you take a look at this video, be warned that its a little provocative. While I don’t think it’s strictly NSFW, it does allude to some body parts that are private in nature. If you haven’t figured out what I mean, then just watch it by yourself. You’ll understand pretty early into the video. You can find it at the end of this post.
Unfortunately, there isn’t much to break down about this video. It doesn’t show us any different form factors, but we have reason to believe that those will come. Edit: It shows a version of the phone with the traditional 4 Android buttons, which is a change from the international version. Thanks to @mfg68 for pointing that out to me.
This is big news for Android users, as the Galaxy S II is one of the very best Android phones to be released to date. However, it may suffer due to the long wait American consumers have had to endure for it. We will know everything on Monday, when Samsung shows us their “something big.”
Are you still excited for the U.S. launch of the Galaxy S II? Have you been waiting for this phone to launch? As always, you can get yourself heard by leaving a comment below.
