Motorola finally confirms official Droid Bionic specs

Android News, Motorola
It seems like an eternity ago when the Droid Bionic graced our presence for the first time at the CES event. Since then, Motorola has delayed the Bionic over and over again for improvements to its form factor. And when it comes to specs, we’ve heard it all, but Motorola seems ready to clear up the rumors.
The MotoDev site has given an official spec sheet for the Bionic, comparing it to the Droid 3 and Photon 4G. What is under the Bionic’s hood you ask? Well, check out the official specs below:
- 1GHz OMAP4430 dual-core processor
- 1GB RAM
- 4.3? qHD screen
- 8MP rear camera (shoots 1080p video)
- VGA front camera (told you that 2MP was a bad rumor)
- HDMI 1.4
- Android 2.3.4
- Webtop capabilities
- 4G LTE
Judging from the information above, the Bionic is setting up to be an impressive phone landing on the shelves of Big Red (Verizon). The only downfall I could see is the unpopular MotoBlur integration on top of Android’s OS, though Motorola has made more changes to its Android skin. As to when exactly this will launch is anyone’s guess at this point, but recently its been give a September release. Heck, we don’t even know what the price will be, but we assume it will fall in-line with Verizon’s other high-end Android phones. So prepare to pay some serious dough before sign-up.
Now that we’ve gotten official specs for the device, what do you guys think? Will the Motorola Droid Bionic be your next Android smartphone? If it’s not the Bionic, then what Android phone down the pipeline are you eyeing?

For me, it'll probably either be the Bionic or the Galaxy S II: depends on whether the Galaxy S II will have the LTE and which one comes out sooner.
NFC or bust
Oh hey…first dual core phone on Verizon's LTE service. Nice. Wonder if its locked or not.
Hmm? is this correct? I thought the Model number was XT875? and was to have a 4.5 in screen. Looks like the old specs to me
Heads or tails!
