What was once known as the HTC Ruby, will be officially dubbed HTC Amaze 4G for its release on USA carrier T-Mobile, and could very well be released right alongside the Samsung Hercules relatively soon. Besides minor cosmetic differences, you’ll notice in the picture; it looks eerily similar to the HTC Sensation.
The Amaze 4G will be one of two new flagship phones headed to T-Mobile and it has some impressive specs to back it up. HTC Amaze is one of many names that the company has filed trademark applications for as of late. This Android device will be a monster of a phone with the strongest dual-core processor inside of an HTC device yet — clocked at a rumored 1.5GHz. It’ll also have a 4.3 inch qHD display, 1GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel camera with a front facing camera and Android 2.3.
But before you start to hyperventilate over these amazing features, remember this is all still speculation. We haven’t heard any official announcement in regards to a launch date from HTC nor T-Mobile. A document published by TmoNews suggests an October 26th launch date which seems so far away at this point. Maybe, we can all hope that T-Mo pushes up the date for an earlier release.
What do you guys think? Will it be Samsung Hercules or HTC Amaze 4G for you? As always, please leave your comments in our trusty section below.
