Can’t wait to get your hands on the soon to be released Lenovo K1 IdeaPad? Well, thanks to Amazon, you’ll have the opportunity to be one of the first in-line. It’s only been a few days since Lenovo officially announced the K1. Amazon currently has the IdeaPad available for pre-order with a promise to ship within 1 to 2 months, but the even better news is the tablet is eligible for free shipping if you’re an Amazon Prime member.

In testing this pre-order, I hit the product page of the tablet and Amazon allowed me to add the IdeaPad to my cart, but I didn’t go any further becuase I didn’t want to have my account charged. With pre-orders going out on Amazon so soon, Lenovo seems to be setting up for a major push for its first time into the Honeycomb ecosystem that is tablet mania.

Lenovo’s new Honeycomb tablet is the first to be certified for Netflix, and with HDMI-out ports, the device can be used to stream to a bigger screen television. The IdeaPad K1 is on sale for $499 at Lenovo.com/tablets. It will arrive at other retailers in the U.S. this August and throughout the world in Q3 2011. So clearly, Amazon has the leg up on other retailers.

So what do you guys think? Are you gearing up for Lenovo’s IdeaPad K1 by pre-ordering one of these bad boys? If not, why? As always please sound off with your opinions in our comment section below.
