The popular Documents to Go Office suite for Android just received a pretty significant update for Honeycomb (tablet) users. In this latest version (3.003), Docs to Go gives Honeycomb users the much needed ability of using one of its important features, Desktop Sync. This update brings a list of improvements for the Motorola Xoom and Acer A500 tablets.

You’ll find important improvements such as support for external SD/USB on Acer A500. Moving files on and off your external SD card or USB shouldn’t be an issue anymore, well, at least for you Acer A500 owners out there.

Recent changes include:
Version 3.003
•Support Desktop Sync on Honeycomb
•Improve main UI for Honeycomb
•Various fixes/improvements -
- Fix registration on Moto Xoom
- Fix hyperlinks in PDF

Docs to Go since its inception has always been one of my favorite apps, it’s reliable and stable interface has gotten me through many tight situations. When I was working a second shift and research papers were do the next day, Documents to Go was my saving grace — I would get a huge head start on assignments then once I got home I would finish. That said, Honeycomb and Docs to Go users, run to the market, hit that trusty “My apps” button and update — don’t hold out — make sure you to tell us how smooth or awful the new update may be in the comments section below!
