A couple days ago, Chris told you about a dead-simple note taking app. But, for those of you who want a more full featured solution, Evernote has been the go-to app for quite a while, and it just got a whole lot better. Evernote 3.0 hit the Android Market today and included a number of new features, including:
- Mobile collaboration
- Note sharing
- Location tagging
- PIN locking (Premium Only)
- Notebook stacks
- Snippet browsing view
- Improved editor
- Improved interface
The important features are the collaboration, sharing and geo-location options now added to an already impressive app. As always, Evernote will sync your notes across multiple devices. The app itself is free, as is the basic service, but as usual, if you are a power user, you can go premium for $5 per month. Premium subscribers get a number of extra features, including increased storage/upload sizes, access to note history, the ability to search within PDFs, and now in 3.0, premium members can lock notes with a PIN for added security.
