PCWorld UK may have WiFi-only Xoom release window [Updated]

Motorola Tablets
We knew a WiFi only Xoom was on its way, and now we have a vague and unofficial release date for it. PCWorld UK has put up a pre-order page for the WiFi only Xoom. The page lists the price at ?499.99 (~$815), and says that the device will be available in the first week of April, with the delivery date given as April 9th.
The 3G Xoom has yet to be released in the UK, but it is also slated for April. So, it’s nice to see that at the least consumers will know when they’ll be able to grab the WiFi only version of the Xoom around the same time. PCWorld has claimed exclusivity for the Xoom on launch day in the UK, but afterwards it should also become available through Carphone Warehouse, and Best Buy as well.
On the flip side, if you’re still eager for the 3G Xoom, you’ll have to sign up for info from Carphone Warehouse, as they will be the exclusive retailer for that model of Xoom tablet.
**Update** In what could be good news all around, the UK Xoom is reportedly going to be shipping with Flash. So, that could mean that Flash will be available for everyone in the first week of April.

How can Motorola expect to sell Xoom when the IPad has just been launched at a price starting at $499 ? I am disapointed with the pricing of Xoom, and perhaps I should look at the IPad 2… My recent post SQL- Get a list of all tables in a database
The Xoom is 32GB with Wifi and 3G for $800, the new ipad with the same 32GB and wifi is $829. The $500 ipad you are talking about is 16GB and wifi only. Hopefully this new wifi only version of the xoom will be at a similar price. http://www.tomsguide.com/us/iPad-2-Price-Releae-d…
Okay sweet! Very excited to get my hands on one of these things. I've already gone to use the tablet in store three times bsessed:
but it should still be 32 gb. wifi version should be around 600. SHOULD
however there is no usa release date for wifi only model yet.
The first question is why would anyone bother to buy a crippled device like the ipad when there are so many better choices around – usually cheaper too!
