INQ Cloud Touch

We learned a bit more about INQ’s Facebook-centric phone yesterday, and we also got to see a brief hands-on video of the device. Today, a more comprehensive preview of the Cloud Touch has been posted, courtesy of Engadget. The Cloud Touch will be the first phone to take advantage of Facebook’s new Social Graph API, and it seems to feature pretty epic Facebook integration.

The Cloud Touch rocks a 3.5-inch, HVGA touchscreen, Android 2.2 and a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor. Those specs are not impressive compared to current high-end devices, but INQ’s Facebook phone will likely be comparatively cheap, and according to the preview, the device feels quite fast.

The predictive on-screen keyboard SwiftKey will come preloaded on the Cloud Touch, and the phone will bring you all the news and notifications about your Facebook friends that you can handle. Among other things, the 6.5 minute hands-on video below shows the very nice looking lock screen of the Cloud Touch. INQ’s Facebook phone will be released in the UK in April, and it’s said to hit other parts of Europe in May.
