Android Games
Gun Bros is one of my favorite Android games. I’ve logged an obscene amount of hours playing this shooting game, and I called it one of the best apps when I reviewed it a few weeks ago.
Reps from Glu Mobile, developers of Gun Bros, on-hand at Mobile World Congress told Androinica.com what users can expect from the game soon. The much sought-after integration with Facebook, faster Xplodium refinement, and weapons upgrades should arrive in March. Glu originally planned to not release the game until all of these features were ready, but decided to release the beta version so users could become accustom to Gun Bros and increase popularity. It’s now one of the most-downloaded games on Android.
Also in the works will be the ability to purchase upgrades (date for this not yet confirmed) .The introduction of in-app purchases has allowed Glu to develop a system to purchase better guns, armor, and other features without having to clock so many hours earning Xplodium. Here’s a demo of Gun Bros running on a Motorola Xoom with Glu explaining how users will be able to play on their phone or tablet without losing progress. Be sure to download the Gun Bros beta!
