At Mobile World Congress, all of the stands showcasing Android products featured pins with the Android logos. Whether looking at the new HTC products or checking out the NVIDIA quad-core processor demos, visitors to each display were able to grab a small pin that customized the Android logo in some way.
“That’s interesting,” was all I said when I spotted a couple of people who had pins covering their entire show badge and lanyard. But After seeing Mippin CTO Richard Hyndman retweet a message about Android pins selling for as much as ?22 ($36 USD) on eBay, I felt compelled to deliver a more affordable option for people who couldn’t make it to MWC.
So, I present to the great readers of Androinica.com a simple contest to win one of the Android pins that I found in my coat pocket. I didn’t realize how valuable they would prove until the show finished, so now you can benefit by following these simple steps:

- On Thursday, February 24, 2011, we will post a status update mentioning the name of one random Facebook fan. That person will have 24 hours to send a message to hello [at sign] androinica.com saying where I should send the pin.
- If that person does not respond in time or doesn’t want a pin, another person will be selected at random until a winner responds.
This contest is open to any Androinica.com reader living anywhere in the world.
