While the Toshiba tablet does not yet have a name, it is shaping up to look pretty nice, and Toshiba now has a teaser site to show it off in style. The Toshiba tablet will be packing:

  • 10.1 inch screen (16:9 aspect ratio, 1280×800 resolution)
  • Android 3.0 Honeycomb (at launch!)
  • Tegra 2 processor (obviously)
  • 5 megapixel rear-facing camera
  • 2 megapixel front-facing camera
  • Removable battery
  • HDMI out
  • Mini-USB port
  • Full USB 2.0 port
  • Landscape dock
  • SD card slot
  • Headphone and microphone jacks
  • Motion sensor, GPS and compass

All that packed into a 0.6 inch thick rubberized grip frame. Not too bad. I’m not sure I like the idea of separate headphone and microphone jacks though. I’d rather have the all-in-one jack that you’d find on a phone. Other than that, I like the looks of it. It’s due out in the spring, but that’s all we know.
