Peggle and Plants vs Zombies coming to Android

Android Games
It looks like the long wait is almost over, PopCap’s Jeff Green has not only confirmed, but shown pictures of both Peggle and Plants vs Zombies running on a Nexus One. For anyone out there who has yet to experience either of these PopCap classics, they are essentially video game crack, and once you start playing, you will find it difficult to stop. Peggle is, after a fashion, a take on the classic Plinko game from Price is Right, and PvZ is exactly what it sounds like: a tower defense game pitting plants against the living dead.
In a series of tweets today, Jeff Green, PopCap’s Director of Editorial and Social Media, released one picture of each game running on a Nexus One. Lastly, he responded to a question by saying that the games would not be ad supported, and would probably be sold through “the various marketplaces.”
I am certainly excited for these games. And, I’m especially glad to see that PopCap won’t be following in the steps of GameLoft and avoiding the Market. Instead, it seems that the games will not only come to the Android Market, but likely the Amazon Market and maybe even the Tegra Zone Market.

Great news, cait wait for plants vs zombies!! So glad it won't be add supported either. It ruins frame rates, and its just not cool to have pop ups in games!!
Very excited! Definitely will be purchasing PvZ as soon as it becomes available on the market(s). Viva la Android!
