Opera for Tablets to be Debuted at CES

CES hasn’t even started and we’re getting sneak peaks into what will be announced during the show. Opera has put out a pre-CES preview video of their upcoming browser specifically designed for tablets. The video shows the app running on a Samsung Galaxy tab, though the video doesn’t show anything but the app starting up and the multi-touch pinch-to-zoom capabilities.

The app looks smooth, and Opera has a track record of quality apps. One would assume that a major part of this app would be integration of Opera Link, which synchronizes user bookmarks, Speed Dial, personal bar, notes, typed browser history and custom searches across desktop and mobile. If Google doesn’t integrate Chrome Sync into Honeycomb, that could be a killer feature.
