With its dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 chip, fingerprint reader, qHD touchscreen, and cool 1000 megs of RAM – the recently announced Motorola Atrix 4G is one of the new true superphones. The Atrix also features an innovative docking technology that allows the device to be turned into a Linux powered laptop or desktop computer, with a full version of FireFox.
Motorola has said that the Atrix will be released in the first quarter of 2011, but the company hasn’t been more specific than that. Thanks to a leaked internal AT&T screen grab, however, we may have a launch date for what some people believe is the new king of Androids: March 1.
That’s not too far away, about six weeks, and while the launch date naturally may be changed, March 1 seems probable at this point.
