LG Revolution LTE device coming to Verizon

January 6, 2011 | by Chris Smith

LG said that they would be bringing their A-game to the Android front this year and with the announcement of the LG Revolution on Verizon’s new LTE network they may be just doing that. It’s good to see LG getting in the game early with LTE because last year they didn’t have too many compelling Android devices in the US.

Here is as much as we know about the LG Revolution from LG’s press release:

  • Support for Verizon’s LTE network (obviously)
  • Android 2.2
  • 5.0MP rear camera, front-facing camera yet no word on mega-pixels
  • 16GB internal memory w/ microSD support up to 32GB
  • 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen (no word on AMOLED or LCD)
  • WiFi, Bluetooth
  • WiFi tether support up to eight devices

The Revolution’s specs are still panning out, but expect to see the device listing on VZW pretty soon.
