Continuing the crusade to become more than just the “carrier with the iPhone”, AT&T has already announced smartphones from all 3 major Android manufacturers, and now says that there will be HSPA+ and LTE tablets coming in the second half of 2011. The first tablet will be HSPA+ from Motorola, and the second tablet will be LTE, but no more specifics were given on that. In total, there will be around 5 to 7 HSPA+ tablets and an undisclosed number of LTE tablets.
The Motorola tablet will feature Honeycomb, a 10.1 inch screen and a 1Ghz Tegra 2 processor.
More info as it comes.
