The EVO Shift has already leaked a couple pre-order pages, and we’re getting another pre-order page, but this time we’re also getting a more fleshed out spec sheet and a video review courtesy of Wirefly.
The EVO Shift seems to have ditched the front-facing camera of the original EVO, dropped the screen size, and switched from a 1Ghz processor to an 800Mhz processor. Overall, it seems that the EVO Shift is related more to the T-Mobile G2 than the original EVO. The specs are:
- 3.6″ screen
- 800Mhz processor
- 512MB RAM
- 4G connectivity (obviously)
- 5 megapixel camera (capable of 720p video)
- 1500 mAH battery
- Android 2.2
It looks like a good set of revisions all around, though I would have liked to see the front-facing camera stick around. Wirefly has also posted a pre-order page, and has been kind enough to undercut both Radio Shack and Amazon by charging only $119.99 for the phone, shipping January 9th. Here’s the video overview of the phone, links at the bottom!

Is it me or is Sense looking more and more horrible? It just seems so heavyweight and bloated compared to the slick, 2D feel of stock Gingerbread and WP7. I'll never buy another Sense phone again. I don't care how pumped-up the hardware is. I can wait.
Well, you can simply install custom ROM without Sense and make the most out of HTC's great hardware
