T-Mobile has said that the Dell Streak 7 is one of many tablets that the company plans to bring to its network, but it hasn’t said how much the device will cost. At least not overtly.
Streak Smart points out that T-Mobile may have tipped its hand for the Streak 7′s on-contract pricing. The bottom of the Streak 7′s “Coming Soon” page says that device can be purchased for a $82.50 down payment, plus 3 monthly payments of $82.50. Other product pages for T-Mobile products include similar language that show a product that typically costs $200 on contract can be split into four equal payments. By that logic, $82.50 x 4 = $330.
There’s no guarantee that this is the price set for the Dell Streak, which is why this post was labeled a rumor. But it’s worth noting that other information on the page, in terms of pre-loaded content, jive with what we’ve already heard about the Dell Streak. If this $330 price holds true, we could see an affordable contract price for the device.
