The fact that Android is getting more and more 3D games is a welcome trend – especially with those Tegra 2 chips around the corner. An increasing number of developers are also finally realizing the great potential of Google’s platform, and this time around it is Ratrod Studio that has released an Android version of its racing game Drift Mania Championship.
The game has apparently been downloaded 2 million times on iOS, and now Android users can enjoy it as well for 99 cents. Drift Mania Championship features 3D graphics with drift controls, 5 customizable vehicles, 3 different circuits and 3 difficulty levels. A global online leaderboard is present as well that keeps track of all top scores.
It’s impossible to tell if Drift Mania is a fun game without having played it, but the screen shots and the demo video look pretty promising. The game is compatible with 800×480 (WVGA) and 854×480 (FWVGA) devices, and can be purchased for $0.99 in the Market.
