Micro blogging service Posterous has just entered the Android Market. Now fans can post their simple updates just as easily on Android as they do on the desktop.
Posterous, like tumblr, is a blogging platform geared towards short pieces of content rather than long-winded blog posts. Users get more space to share thoughts than they do on Twitter, or use their mini-blog to share photos, links, and other media. Posterous even bills itself as the “Dead simple way to post everything online.”
And that’s exactly what one will find in the Posterous for Android app. Within seconds of registering for a Posterous account, someone can start ranting and raving about whatever crosses their mind. Users can share a link, take a photo or video, or select media from the gallery to share. Tap post and it’s up.
