Sony Ericsson still won’t come clean on that PlayStation Phone that we know exists, but the Japanese half of the SE partnership is coming out with an Android app.

The Official PlayStation App for the Android – that’s a direct quote, the Android – comes first to select European gamers. Users will be able to browse their PlayStation Network trophy case and see what friends are doing. Why waste time working when you can browse the phone to see whether your friends are playing Black Ops?

The OPAFTA will also deliver announcements from the European PlayStation Blog, read about news for PS3, PSP, or PS2, and share information with friends. The app will first go to France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Other countries and languages are will follow.
