A Motorola Olympus was purchased in a flea market and miraculously turned on, said one tipster. I’m sure everyone’s BS meter just went off the scale, but let’s focus on the more believable information that we’re able to grab from the tipster’s leaks to Gizmodo.
The Olympus will have an HDMI port located on the bottom left corner next to its microUSB port. There’s also a front-facing camera nestled in a frame that looks larger than a Motorola Defy, so this should have at least a 3.7-inch screen, possibly 4 to 4.3 inch. There’s also Motorola’s UI tweaks running on top of Android 2.2.
This information adds-on to the previous rumors of the Olympus having an NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset heading to AT&T. It’s possible that this could be upgraded to Android 2.3 when released or shortly following its debut, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. Here are a few photos courtesy of Gizmodo.
