We’re seeing more and more of the upcoming Tegra 2 powerhouse LG Star, and hidden in a recent press release concerning a different device, the Star’s official name was revealed. It will be called LG Optimus 2X when it’s released in South Korea – a suitable moniker that underlines the fact that it packs a dual-core processor.
The Optimus 2X will be launched within a couple of months and with its Tegra 2 chip, 1080p video recording, HDMI-out and 4-inch display, the device will certainly give other high-end Androids such as the Nexus S a run for its money.
Phandroid did some YouTube digging and discovered a series of videos showing the Optimus 2X in action, including the phone’s HDMI-out capabilities and iPhone 4/Galaxy S comparisons. Who wants one?
