HTC releases firmware updates for Legend and Wildfire – will Froyo soon follow?

A couple of days ago the HTC Desire received an update and the Taiwanese manufacturer continues this week’s firmware festivities by making upgrades available for both the HTC Legend and Wildfire.
The OTA Wildfire update will bring the device to version 1.37.405.1, and Legend owners can enjoy firmware version 2.05.405.2 after upgrading. If you don’t get automatically notified of the update, you can go to Settings > About phone > System software updates on your Android and hit the Check now button as usual to install the latest firmware.
There’s no official changelog available this time either, but considering that HTC recently said that the Legend and the Wildfire would receive Froyo before the year is over, these updates are likely a preparation for Android 2.2. Has anyone noticed any improvements after upgrading?

I feel that the 1.37.405.1 for wildfire improve the speed, but I've noticed no other change so far….
"Has anyone noticed any improvements after upgrading?" Yeah, now I have this annoying "Unable to start wifi" problem (on a HTC Legend). Argh! As I saw someone else has complained about the same behaviour on HTC Legend Facebook page.

My vodafone HTC LEgend has had froyo for a few weeks. The battery life seems appalling though
I still don't have Froyo on my HTC Aria, it's probably AT&T's fault but this is really frustrating nonetheless.
i ve got bunch of bugs with the update -1 2.05.405.2 on my legend htc, whwn i ve received it yesterday. Unbranded Htc legend- Serbia- Europe SSSS
I've noticed a newer version of the market app as I installaed the "pre-update" yesterday.
Legend with 2.05.405.2 is really much faster…
Would like to have latest software on my legend. could you please let me know where do i get the ROM. This legend i brought from Singapore.

I can confirm that this update breaks WiFi on the Wildfire.
Didn't for me, but as I've read does for some people. Can't imagine why.
HTC tweeted that the Froyo update is now live across Europe as of about an hour ago.
Legend or wildfire?
Since update Wildfire seems to now have an option to "share mobile connection" when the USB cable is connected. Either this is new or i just never noticed it before? no problems with wifi for me…
nope it's not new. it existed before. Only i never managed to get it work. may be now it would be easyer. does this update have any bigger improwements?
