Financial investment firm Fidelity has released an Android application for customers who want to manage their portfolio on the go.
Fidelity Investments is a free app that will help monitor savings accounts, place trades, or track stocks. There’s a search button that will locate a stock based on its symbol or option to bookmark stocks in a portfolio. The app then provides stock prices, quotes, charts to show progress, and news stories to help make purchasing decisions.
The app is available in the Android Market for free. While the stock ticker and news functions are open to anyone, the app will be of more use to people playing the stock market with a Fidelity portfolio. Customers will also be able to make trades directly from the app. Users will also get Quotes, News, Watch Lists, and management of multiple accounts.
