It turns out those “Free Phone Fridays” at Best Buy last October were just an experiment for something big. The experiment was a success because now Best Buy Mobile is offering a free phone every day this month.

Best Buy announced today that it is launching a daily holiday promotion to offer four smartphones – one from each major U.S. carrier – that will be free on a two-year contract. Anyone who has been to a Best Buy knows that Android powers a large portion of the phones that the retailer offers, and that’s evidenced by the first set of phones offered in this deal:

  • Droid Incredible by HTC (Verizon)
  • Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 (AT&T)
  • LG Optimus S (Sprint)
  • LG Optimus T (T-Mobile)

Best Buy will offer this sale every day in the month of December, though quantities and phones may differ depending on store location. Consumers must be willing to sign a two-year agreement in order to receive the phone at no cost, and it applies only to people signing up for a new contract, activating a new line, or applying to an account eligible for an upgrade.
