Some HTC Evo 4G owners may have already received a notification of an over-the-air update that will bring you to version 3.30.651.3. There is no official changelog at the time, but the update will supposedly take care of a camera bug that a number of people are experiencing with the apps Qik and Tango.
HTC Evos sold in November have a different software version number (3.30.651.2) than previous units due to a parts difference, and according to Sprint, only users with the latest Evos will be notified of the update. But there are several reports of people sporting the older software version getting the update as well. That’s all we know for now, but when/if Sprint reveals the full story the post will be updated.
