Want free Android games? GetJar’s got ‘em

GetJar wants people to know that it’s the second largest mobile app store in the world. In an effort to attract customers who might make that store even bigger, the multiplatform app distributor is giving away games that normally cost money.
Glu Mobile supplied a number of games that will be available in the GetJar featured app section. Android gamers will be able to access the free titles by visiting GetJar.com and clicking the Recommended section. There, users will find free games from Glu Mobile like Brain Genius 2, Stranded: Mysteries of Time, Build-a-lot, and Race Drive Grid.
GetJar is using this promotion as a test to see if it can attract more business in the GetJar+ program, which will offer more premium games for free.

Is this available to specific countries only or something? I went to http://www.getjar.com and it doesn't have any indication they have any sort of promotion going.
I saw Stranded 2 for free but I'm not sure if that's the only one or it's just hard to find them…

Found Gangstar 3 on the site but it was a fake, installed and when I run it, it just takes me to some wierd web page on phone.
Androinica really should have vetted this before posting. I tried 3 “free”games and they were all fake. They downloaded and installed, but when launched they just go to a webpage for buying another game. I hope this didn’t put malware on my phone!
I'm surprised that you guys would post some nonsense like this. I got a pop up that the site was malicious.
Hey guys, hopefully I can help by clarifying a few things. 1. Stranded 2 is the first game – new games come every two weeks. It's the full game with no ads, catches or anything. http://www.getjar.com/mobile/43821/stranded-2 2. The game can be found in GetJar recommends, Sponsored apps or by searching the site for "stranded" 3.
