You folks on U.S. Cellular didn’t think you would be left out in the Samsung Galaxy cold, did you? Fear not, for your favorite carrier has just announced that it will begin selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab as well.
Samsung previously announced that the Galaxy Tab would sell on all four major U.S. carriers, but U.S. Cellular is the first regional carrier to offer the Tab on its network. U.S. Cellular however has only promised to deliver the device; the company has yet to reveal when it will go on sale and how much it will cost. As the date draws closer for releases from other companies – T-Mobile on November 10 and Sprint and Verizon on November 14 – now is probably a good time for U.S. Cellular to let people know when to expect their Android tablet.
U.S. Cellular recently announced some major initiatives to increase customer loyalty and announced the Mesmerize, their version of the Galaxy S phones. Good to see another carrier embracing Android; let’s just hope they give us the details ASAP.
